Mia is a native of the Inland Empire and currently resides in Corona CA. She is a graduate of the University of California Riverside with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Masters of Science in Educational Counseling, and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology in progress. Mia is a social butterfly and genuinely enjoys developing platforms in which brown skin women can fellowship, promote their projects, and self care. Her favorite phrase of reference is “Do it for your mental health”! When you have the opportunity to attend one of Mia’s brunches you are guaranteed to leave full physically, socially, and emotionally! One thing that Mia is passionate about is living life to the fullest! You never know where in the world you might catch her as she is a frequent traveler. One of her favorite pastimes is travel consulting and she has assumed the role of Travel Coordinator for Brown Skin Brunchin. She joined Brown Skin Brunchin in efforts to engage and lead brown skin women toward the ultimate self-care experiences in order to promote overall good mental health.
