Tara Jones

Tara was born and raised down south, came to NYC for a visit and fell in love with the bright lights and big city! She knew she wanted to live in the Big Apple! Tara is a HR professional and works for a leading financial services firm in NYC. She's a member of SHRM and has several HR certifications. In her spare time, Tara enjoys travel, both domestic and international. She's also an amateur chef and would be comedian. Living in Brooklyn, Tara rides her bike through Prospect Park for some good ole cardio. "Those chicken & waffles ain't gonna work themselves off!" Tara's also a mom to a rising freshman at NYU this fall.
Tara joined Brown Skin Brunchin' to meet likeminded women of color. "It's an awesome experience to meet, laugh, bond, and share experiences with an amazing network of women while sipping on bellinis." Couple that with some of the best restaurants in world in NYC and it's a win win. As the saying goes, "don't threaten me with a good time!"
