Lekisha Gunn

Lekisha was born in Bloomington, Illinois, but spent most of her childhood in Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a business degree in economics and holds a master's degree in public policy from Duke University. She spent nearly a decade working in federal and state government combined and now works in the non-profit sector as the Impact Manager for a national non-profit organization, Girls on the Run, which focuses on social-emotional learning, fitness and play as alternative methods of learning and joy! She loves running and walking along the Lakeshore Trail. When not running or biking, she is new dog mom to her senior pug named Pep, a rescue she adopted.
