New Orleans July Brunch

It’s time to BRUNCH! Join Brown Skin Brunchin’ this month as we host brunch at 14 Parishes at 12:30PM.

If you’re visiting New Orleans or already in town during Essence Fest, meet us for brunch at 14 Parishes on Oak Street! Named after the 14 Parishes of Jamaica, this family-ran joint dishes up homeland classics like beef patties and jerk chicken paired with sides like sweet plantains and cornbread. The space features colorful artwork and reclaimed wood tables that create a laid-back, rustic vibe. In addition to the classics, 14 Parishes also offers brunch favorites with a twist: jerk chicken & waffles, oxtails & grits, and don't forget the Rum Punch!   

The theme for this brunch is all white! In addition, please bring cash. There will be no separate checks

We specialize in bringing together women of color for good food, fun, and drinks, all while creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Connect with women locally and nationwide as you expand your Brunchin’ circle.

To reserve your space in this month's brunch, a fee of $10 is required. Seating is confirmed once your RSVP and payment are received. Wondering what the $10 covers? It covers the cost/fees associated with keeping the group active.
