Long Beach September Brunch

It’s time to BRUNCH! Join Brown Skin Brunchin’ this month as we host brunch at  McKenna’s Tea Cottage at 12:00PM.

McKenna’s is a quaint upscale tea in the heart of Old Town Seal Beach. Here they offer a taste of traditional English tea and treats. From the moment you step into our cozy and elegant space, you will feel transported to the heart of London. You'll be greeted by the soothing aroma of freshly brewed tea, the smell of freshly baked scones, and the gentle sounds of steeping leaves. Their menu features a wide variety of teas from classic black tea to delicious flavored teas. Their menu also features a variety of other English-inspired items, including soups, sandwiches, salads, and quiches. 

The theme for this brunch is afternoon tea! Bring along your hats, fascinators, gloves, and come with your pinkies up!

We specialize in bringing together women of color for good food, fun, and drinks, all while creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. To reserve your space in this month's brunch, a fee of $10 is required. Seating is confirmed once your RSVP and payment are received. Wondering what the $10 covers? It covers the cost/fees associated with keeping the group active.
