About the event
Art & Soul: Hamptons is designed to highlight, showcase, and celebrate art created by influential and emerging Black and Brown artists living within the Hampton community, and beyond. This 3 day weekend event will encourage people to visit Southampton to support, engage, and connect with artists of color. This experience will consist of an art walk, live music and entertainment, soulful cuisine, supporting Black-owned businesses, and learning about the Native American Shinnecock tribe.

Exclusive Film Screening: 'The Inventor' at the Southampton Arts Center
Join us for a special screening of the short film 'The Inventor' (22 minutes), followed by a Q&A with film producers, film director, and cast. Panel co-moderated by Brenda Simmons, founder of Southampton African American Museum and Dr. Anita Farrington of STEM Impact LLC.
Light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served.

Join us for the ultimate music experience, hosted by Kevin Thompson - The Entertainer, featuring live performances by GRAMMY-Nominated R&B/Soul singer/songwriter KENNY LATTIMORE and R&B/Soul singer/songwriter ESNAVI.
The evening includes a panel discussion with participating Art Walk artists. Conversation Topic: BIPOC Artists discuss the history of multicultural art, their journey, and their current work displayed during the Art Walk.

Shinnecock Indian Reservation - Tour of Ma's House & BIPOC Art Studio
The Ma's House project is being led by artist and photographer Jeremy Dennis.
Jeremy is a contemporary fine art photographer and a tribal member of the Shinneock Indian Nation in Southampton, NY. In his work, he explores indigenous identity, culture, and assimilation.
